They open the link, see the full SWMS — scope, hazards, controls, who's involved. Tap Sign, draw signature, done. Burgy timestamps it, captures their name, IP, and device, and attaches it to the document. The officer's sign-off appears on the official PDF alongside worker signatures.
If the officer doesn't sign within the window you set (24 hrs default), Burgy notifies the next escalation contact — typically the Site Supervisor or HSE Manager. The escalation chain is logged so an auditor can see exactly who was notified, when, and what happened next.
